Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a ski resort in Teton Village, Wyoming. Jackson Hole is known for its relatively steep terrain and its vertical drop at 4,140 ft. The name “hole” derives from language used by early trappers or mountain men, who primarily entered the valley from the north and east and had to descend along relatively steep slopes, giving the sensation of entering a hole. The ski resort is one of the best in the west and will never disappoint.
